Every person lives with some troubles, even if there are some differences, and with stress such as friction with the surroundings and relationships.
Like myself, when I have a problem or something I don’t like, my emotions are dominated by negative energy. Sometimes you even think too much and get stuck.
No matter what kind of person you are, there must always be some kind of negative emotion or a moment of having it.
In such a case, depending on how you control yourself, it makes a big difference whether you lead a happy life or live with stress as it is.
This time, I would like to learn with you how people can be happy while spending their days.

Living calmly

What kind of life do you think is the happiest life?
Would you be happy if you could get rich or marry someone you like?
You may feel happy when your greed is satisfied. But I think it won’t last long.
Because, even if you get rich or marry someone you like, you don’t get true happiness.
Happiness is the state of mind. Then, what kind of state is happiness specifically means that it is a “calm heart” all the time.
In other words, if you want a happy life, you should focus your efforts on being a “calm heart” rather than satisfying your greed.
There are two rules for living calmly.
・ Don’t worry about small things
・ Recognize that everything is a small matter
People try to resist the situation they are in, even if they are not aware of it. There is a potential attachment there, which creates suffering.
Instead of resisting the flow of the situation, we need an attitude of accepting and letting go of the flow.
Someone else will do your job

Many people go to work early in the morning and work hard until late at night. They think they need it for life and for family.
And they are running out of time to spend time with their family.
Does that mean that you are successful when you are busy with such work or when you have a full schedule and do not even have time to spend with your family?
No matter how busy you are or doing important work, if you and your family or loved ones are not happy, is it a success?
People tend to define success as doing a big job, getting a lot of money, or becoming famous, but there are people who don’t have the time to pursue their own happiness or the happiness of their family. Is it a successful person?
It’s a bit extreme, but if you die today, someone will do the work you have left.
In that sense, there is absolutely no work you have to do. If you pursue too much to accomplish everything perfectly, happiness will not come to your heart.
If you want to be happy, you shouldn’t aim to do everything perfectly but to live a loving life where you can enjoy this moment and move forward.
The idea of enjoying each and every moment leads to the attitude of “living in the present.”
With that said, it may be understood that it may be ideal. However, it’s also true that there are times when you have to or think you should do it, even if it’s not fun.
However, that anxiety and the feeling that you have to do is for the future, not living in the present.
Our future is ahead of this each moment. We are wasting this precious moment in our lives by being concerned about what may happen in the future.
Time keeps going. Time goes by while you are thinking about what to do in the future.
A happy life can only be obtained by “enjoying the present”.
Start a business and succeed, become the president of a large company, marry someone you like. That’s a good goal with that.
However, life is determined by what kind of daily life you have spent. Rather than just one or a few big events in your life, other casual everyday life enriches your life.
Having a goal is not bad. However, the idea that achieving that goal is the only thing that makes your life meaningful is wrong.
This moment when you are working toward your goals, that is, this daily life is the “your life”.
Our daily lives are the usual conversations with our families, the time we wait for the train to go to work, and the voices of people on the street that we hear when we are walking.
Whether your life is happy and enjoyable depends on how much you enjoy this everyday life as you move toward your goals.
Control negative emotions

I think everyone can feel negative emotions, both at work and in relationships.
People’s negative emotions usually come from very small causes. However, if you think too much about it, you will not be able to get out of it as if you were stuck in a bottomless swamp.
Even people who live calmly can feel depressed sometimes. But they know it’s transient and doesn’t last forever.
Having negative feelings can be said to be human providence. Anyone who is alive must experience it on a daily basis. However, what is important there is a remedy.
The way to deal with it is not to resist the depression.
For example, what you can do is to concentrate on your five senses, take a slow deep breath, and meditate on the spot.
Many people take the negative emotions seriously, analyze the cause, regret having done it if the cause is known, and focus on the negative emotions to get out of the situation.
When negative emotions are about to swell, it’s best to think of everything that happens to you as trying to teach you something. Think about the people you meet, the little troubles you suddenly have, what they are trying to teach you, and what you can learn.
Being able to calmly have that kind of thinking allows you to sympathize with the other person’s position, learn the importance of accepting it.
If you don’t like something, take it as if you think it’s a chance to learn something.
People grow up because they get over a pain. As It’s said, a smooth sea never made a skillful sailor.
If it’s simple but you can’t do it, that means you’ve chosen not to do it.
That said, it’s easy to say … Havn’t you used such words on a daily basis?
If you choose to control your negative emotions, not seek perfection from yourself, and focus on living this moment calmly, a happy life will begin from this moment.
As long as you are alive, you will experience many things such as worries, dislikes, stress, and pressure. It’s the same for everyone. But there are differences.
Some of them are happy and some are not, which is a small difference in whether or not they are “living calmly in the present.”
